Referrals & Community Resources

Room to Rest provides housing and serves as a referral source only for community-based resources. We may connect residents to external organizations that offer services such as employment assistance, benefits support, re-entry programs, or other community resources.

Room to Rest does not provide case management, medical care, counseling, or direct support services.

Our Working Model

Our Housing Model

Room to Rest operates as a shared community housing program, not an emergency shelter. Residents live in furnished shared rooms and share common household spaces. This model allows us to offer affordable housing while encouraging accountability, cooperation, and community connection.

Shared sleeping spaces are a core part of our program and are clearly communicated during the application process so individuals can make informed decisions before applying.
